They're not denying that it happened. They're just commenting on who might have been behind it.
But yeah, relating this to brainwashed "Xbots" is in poor taste, I must agree.
How about Square Enix themselves confirming that the battle and forest sequence were real-time using the White Engine? Is that reputable enough?
So I was looking through the X360 news frontpage... and I don't see any "PS3 fanboys" flaming any games there. In fact every X360 news has about 10 comments or less, none of which are from "PS3 fanboys." But what do we get with PS3 news? Well... just look at the comments here.
I'm assuming the submitter has a subscription on GameSpot to view the HD trailer.
If so it would be capable of mass parallel grilling and would deliver 4D steaks and burgers. So delicioius.

1up puts up short, stripped down versions of their sister magazines' print articles. This is a perfect example. This preview is based on the producer's quote, and then the same background information everyone already knows. Joy.
He thinks right. Blu-ray has much more backing than HD-DVD and that's a fact.
This game looked really impressive years ago, but now with games like Crysis... meh.
If they can get that amount of detail on a large city scale then it'll be impressive.
Oh, so the Cell has heat issues? And you're going to overclock the Cell in your PS3?
This won't affect Microsoft or Sony.
You guys are making this more meaningful than it is. It's not like Cell will receive a performance boost from switching the manufacturing process to 65nm. It's purely cost related on Sony's side.
Yeah, the 360 will have 160 games by Christmas but half of them are Live Arcade games.
